Weâre looking for a hands-on Senior Developer - Backend/Search - CD+E who genuinely enjoys untangling legacy build pipelines and turning them into clean, scalable, and automated systems.

As a senior developer, You'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our search infrastructure, handling technical escalations, and developing scalable search solutions for our video platform as well as developing and maintaining backend services, APIs and stored procedures.

The team:

Youâll be part of a team of talented engineers with a variety of areas of expertise, from frontend to backend to full-stack. The teamâs experience level ranges from seasoned developers with years of experience to junior developers who are growing their roles and impact with your mentorship.

Mandatory Skills:

- 5+ years of backend development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Solr, including:
- Schema design and configuration
- Query optimization and performance tuning
- Indexing strategies and data ingestion

- Experience with .NET/C# and SQL Server

Distinguished Engineer - Accelerated Apache Spark NVIDIA is seeking a Distinguished Engineer for the Apache Spark Acceleration group. Over the past five years GPU accelerated data processing has moved from proof of concept to production deployments. Many enterprises are now recognizing the needs of accelerated computing for large scale data processing. Multi-node GPU deployments will reduce cloud computing costs and lower latency of large scale data processing. At NVIDIA, we have been invested in accelerating Apache Spark, providing an open source plugin for Apache Spark. Apache Spark is the most popular data processing engine in data centers. We strive to accelerate Spark applications on GPUs without any code changes. Our OSS RAPIDS Spark library is integrated with on-premise and cloud services such as AWS EMR, Databricks, Google Dataproc, Oracle Cloud Data Flow, Bytedance Volcengine, Tencent Cloud and Cloudera. You will serve as a hands-on architect of Nvidia Spark Acceleration Group. You will work with a team of distributed system engineers including PMC and Committers of Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive, and Apache Arrow. You will engage in open source projects such as Apache Spark, RAPIDS, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, UCX and more. What you'll be doing: Lead the architecture, design and implementation of accelerated Apache Spark and related big-data frameworks Engage open source communities (including Apache Spark, RAPIDS, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake and UCX) for technical discussion and contribution, and engage new communities where we may not have a strong presence yet Work with NVIDIA partners to deploy GPU enabled data analytics solutions in public cloud or on-premises clusters Present technical solutions at industry conferences and meetups Collaborate with distributed systems teams to define solutions to distributed processing problems challenges at large scale Provide recommendations and feedback to teams regarding decisions surrounding topics such as infrastructure, continuous integration and testing strategy Build, test and optimize CUDA/C++ libraries across different platforms Build automation and tools that will increase the productivity of teams developing distributed systems Mentor members of the engineering team What we need to see: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field (or equivalent experience) 17+ years of work or research experience in software development Prior experience in delivering complex software projects as a lead architect Outstanding technical skills in designing and implementing high-quality distributed systems Excellent programming skills in C++, Java, and/or Scala Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills and communication skills 5+ years working experience with key open source big-data projects as a contributor or committer to Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Apache Hive, Apache Arrow, Delta Lake Excellent knowledge about distributed system schedulers: Kubernetes, Hadoop YARN, Apache Spark Able to delve into a new area and quickly come up to speed Able to work with teams across boundaries and geographies Ways to stand out from the crowd: Working experience in designing and developing columnar query engines would be a huge plus Committership at major open source projects (such as Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Flink) is a big plus Working experience with acceleration libraries (CUDA, RAPIDS, UCX) is helpful Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. We are looking to add a Software Engineer (Level II) to our Development team to help build out our Bright Suite solutions. Ideal candidates will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced, exciting environment where their work will be noticed and appreciated. As an engineer on the Development team, you will be expected to wear multiple hats regarding design and development of omni-channel fulfillment, e-commerce and supply chain solutions for our customer base while being exposed to many modern technology platforms and cloud-based applications in the market.

WHAT YOUâLL DO

Design and develop scalable, mission-critical web applications in a SaaS environment utilizing Java technologies, including feature development for concurrent user activity, bulk data processing, integration and messaging, as well as reporting and analytics.
Key development activities include both back-end development of business logic, workflows and data processing as well as front-end web development including mobile
Collaborating with other team members from Development, Product Management and Implementation teams to design and plan the delivery of software solution features.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar field
1-3 years of experience designing and developing Java web applications.
Expertise in Object-Oriented design and implementation methodologies, design patterns and multi-threaded client/server architectures
Software development experience using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, and Hibernate.
Must demonstrate solid knowledge of using MySQL for business logic and reporting queries.
Understanding of API Design (OpenAPI / Swagger), API Authentication and Authorization using Oauth2 and JWT
Experience developing with modern UI frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)
Ability to demonstrate effective use of AI coding tools like Claude code
Reside in Georgia. We are not currently relocating for this position.

Preferred experience:

Experience with Apache Camel
Cloud technologies like Amazon AWS (S3, EC2, SQS, etc.)
Experience integrating with enterprise applications like Netsuite, Shopify, Salesforce, etc.
