We are a well-funded ($2MM seed) stealth startup on a mission to build the foundational platform that automates and connects critical operational workflows — starting in healthcare and expanding across other data-rich verticals. Our platform is designed to bridge fragmented legacy systems, introducing intelligent, secure, and compliant automation from the ground up.
We’re looking for a highly driven and skilled Founding Engineer to serve as a hands-on CTO. This role is for someone who thrives in a 0→1 environment and is excited to operate at the intersection of deep system architecture, rapid iteration, and direct customer collaboration. You’ll be instrumental in shaping product direction, engineering culture, and go-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and build the core platform, including data models, workflow automation, and the intelligent agent layer. - Collaborate closely with customers and founders to define product workflows, iterate quickly, and generate meaningful feedback loops. - Design and develop API-connected systems that securely bridge fragmented ecosystems in healthcare and beyond. - Build and scale full-stack systems using Node.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Docker. - Manage infrastructure using AWS services like Lambda, RDS, and S3 to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. - Own the technical vision of the company, with a focus on long-term architecture and integrations across EHRs, CRMs, and ERPs. - Shape company culture and engineering standards from day one by recruiting new talent and mentoring early team members. - Iterate on product-market fit in healthcare, then leverage learnings to expand into finance, legal, logistics, or other high-impact verticals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Located in the U.S. with legal authorization to work. - Proven experience at an early-stage startup (Seed to Series B), ideally as a founding engineer in healthcare, finance, logistics, or supply chain industries. - Strong background in designing and deploying secure, API-connected systems across complex domains. - Expertise in full-stack development using Node.js, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. - Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3) and containerization tools like Docker. - Passion for solving deep operational inefficiencies and bringing intelligence to legacy systems through thoughtful architecture and fast learning cycles.
We are live with pilot customers in healthcare and are actively testing our platform in production workflows. This is an opportunity to capture equity (5%+), influence foundational decisions, and help build a platform that redefines how critical industry workflows are automated and scaled.

I don't see why anyone would pay for what this startup does. You can easily build this yourself in 2 hours but serverless by double-dipping NextJS, Tailwind, Jest, Gatsby, Enzyme and Webpack on top of Kubernetes in a Docker VM on AWS.
